Our story

 a history of the band

Grey Feather is a metal band from Central Texas.

Formed in 2017, our pursuit is to spread not just wonderful, ear splitting tunes, but also share the wonders and mysticism that make this proud home of ours (Tejas) that much more intriguing to the wider world at large.

Currently consisting of Eloy Piña, Roland Rosas, Wesley (aka "Whacky") Sanders and Marcos Villarreal, the band’s sound is liken to a merger of thrash, groove, and death metal mixed with hardcore elements. All of this can be characterized by Eloy's percussive, thundering bass, Roland's crushing rhythms and articulate riffs, Whacky's snappy, double-time thrash-metal drumming, and Villarreal’s thought-provoking lyrics and powerful distinctive front man vocals.
 
Blending together themes of Southwestern folklore, Hispanic and Native American culture, and Texas history, this band will convey and paint a vivid picture of perseverance, strength, bravery and hope.
